Written Survey for Catholic Schools

We need your voice, your wisdom, and your experience!

“Christian education is a collective endeavor: no one educates alone. The educational community is a “we” where teachers, students, families, administrative and service staff, pastors and civil society converge to generate life.” (Pope Leo XIV)

Welcome to the Peyton Institute for Domestic Church Life Survey page where we are asking for Catholic School Principals, Mission Integration personnel, and teachers to help us develop a nationwide research project with CARA on the Spiritual Life of Families. We do not want to develop such an important Research project in isolation. We are reaching out to you who serve our children and parents in Catholic schools. You and your experience, your awareness of what families need and how the Church serves families is what we wish to hear.

Instructions for understanding how to answer these survey questions. As you consider the survey questions, we are searching for what the spiritual awareness of families is from your perspective and experience. We are not asking necessarily about Church participation. Fr. Fred Jenga's video, speaks of the necessity of helping families awaken to the reality that each person is created to be in dialogue (in prayer) with God. We believe that if we awaken this spiritual awareness and help individuals and families become people of prayer, they will become involved in the

sacramental life of the Church.
