Written Survey for Pastoral Minister

We need your voice, your wisdom, and your experience!  And please feel free to share this survey for Pastoral Ministers with others on your team.

Welcome to the Peyton Institute for Domestic Church Life Survey for Pastoral Ministers.  Peyton Institute is wishing to do another nation-wide research project.  We did not want to think in isolation.  We are reaching out to you who serve families in the Church.  You and your experience, your awareness of what families need and how the Church serves families is what we wish to hear.

Thank you for all you do for families in their growth in the way of faith.  The Institute would like to discern the question (as part of the upcoming research) do families have what they need to grow and flourish as families when it comes to be aware that each individual is made for God and is invited by God to be in communion, in prayer with God.
Instructions for understanding how to answer these survey questions. As you think of these questions, we are searching for what the spiritual awareness of families is, not Church participation.  There are many studies which deal with Church participation.  Fr. Fred Jenga's video, speaks of the necessity of helping families awaken to the reality of a core principle—each individual is made for God and invited by God to be in dialogue with God—simply stated, to pray to God. We believe if we awaken this spiritual awareness and help individuals and families become people of prayer, they will become involved in the sacramental life of the Church.
