We journey together week by week.
Week 1 is a Meet & Greet and an Orientation of the Learning Management
System – Canvas. This week you can start reading.
Attend a Canvas discussion each week:
Week 1: Course Orientation/Meet & Greet Wednesday, May 20, 8pm – 9pm EASTERN. (Please email course instructor here if you cannot participate.)
Week 2 begins (and all weeks thereafter) on Friday. On Thursdays, a brief assignment is due.
Actively participate in 1 of 2 scheduled live Canvas discussions per week with the instructor. Times are:
▪ Wednesday evenings, 8 pm to 9 pm EASTERN, May 27, June 3, 10, 17, and 24.
▪ Thursday evenings, 4 pm to 5 pm EASTERN, May 28, June 4, 11, 18, and 25.
Weekly reading assignments will be from Redemptoris Mater, the encyclical letter by Pope John Paul II, 1987, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, or a spiritual reflection.
Brief writing assignments of 250 – 350 words.
• Complete the course evaluation.
We use a Learning Management system which houses our courses. The Learning Management system, Canvas by Instructure, is compatible with all systems and browsers and is very user friendly.
